I’ve spent the last year and a bit doing live event photography using the Canon 350d with its standard kit lens(efs 18-85) a very under-rated lens in my opinion. However, the 4.5-5.6f is becoming restrictive. I got a chance to try out some different models of sigma lens during college last year and today i finally pushed myself to buy a lens with a wider aperture. Picked up a sigma 17-70 with an aperture of 2.8-4.5f. Let the games begin.
