Back in the ring

Its being a busy quarter for Tame as they take to the stage once more in Ryans last friday night (April 25th 08) to rock and trash the tiny little back room. To note, i think most of the sound equipment, PA system and backline which filled the stage at Mary’s Hall last year for the General Rock 07 concert, was squeezed onto the stage by master sound jedi “Jed Parle” – love that guy!
I’ve mentioned before that im not a fan of this small red painted venue. Although, this time i played a lot more with bouncing flash off walls for different effects. Some worked, which was nice. I also took a love for the Black and white and monochrome this fare eve. Thats the nice thing about black and white, you dont have over blown hues and saturations of hideous red. I know i know, i could spend time setting the white balance to counter act a lot and fiddle with lots of settings but to be honest, not in this room!
So, shown above is Johnny Fenton, a.k.a. Mad Dog a.k.a Hung like a donkey Fenton a.k.a Anaconda John a.k.a sasquatch. ok, i made the last one up but the rest are true and many many more! Johnny is always a great act, pleasing the crowd with his amasing vocals and ability to make people laugh to the music! This shot was taken in black and white. Took awhile to get the lighting right. Hate that room!
